Quick Facts: 3 years varsity, 3.6 GPA, 1st year on ASB

Personal: Gina Hagerty was born January 29, 1990 in Auburn, Washington.  She is the daughter of Keith and Sherry Hagerty.  She has one younger brother (Mitch) who is a junior at Auburn Riverside.  He also plays on the varsity basketball team for the boys team.  Gina is another 3 sport athlete.  In the Fall she plays Golf (and was the medalist earlier in the week) and in the Spring she runs Track.  Gina is also involved in DECA and participated at state in last season.   

Life as a Raven: Gina is the quickest player we have in the program.  Ever since she came into the program she has been able to get into point guards and create some havoc.  She started on on the JV team as a freshman and has played Varsity ever since.  You can see the improvements in her game every year and is continuing to show she can play at this level and at the next.

Future: Going to a 4 year college is the number one priority for Gina.  She has some opportunities to play college basketball and will have to decide over the next couple of months.  Gina is bright in the field of business marketing so that could be something she pursues down the road.

2007-2008 Outlook: Gina is another one of our special seniors this season.  Her first ever Riverside jersey happen to be # 99 back in the 8th grade.  4 years later she is a key contributor on last year's state title team and looks to help bring back a repeat.  Gina will have the responsibility to pressure every point guard on the floor.  She is a key to starting our pressure back court defense which then leads to easy baskets.
