Life as a Raven: Yes, Rachel was on of the original incoming freshman that made it to state for the first year in the history of the program 3 years ago.  Rachel has played a huge part in tearing up nets.  She blistered the twine her sophomore year at Enumclaw by hitting six 3’s in one game.  She is looking to break the school record this upcoming season.

Future: Givens has an opportunity to play college soccer (one of the top goalies in the state) or college basketball.  She loves the sport of basketball as it is her favorite.  She has a couple of Division I and II schools showing interest.  Rachel will end up playing for a college who will utilize her 3 point shooting.

2007-2008 Outlook: You won’t want to miss a game this year as she is guaranteeing she will break the 3 point record of 7 makes in a game.  She has the green light to shoot it anytime from anywhere.  She loves to pull it deep yet will shot fake and beat you off the dribble for a little pull up jumper.  This is a player who runs the floor in transition better than anyone.  Watch her get out and run the floor and either pull up for the triple or take the much tougher lay-in : )
